Jan Cunningham - Accompanist
Zena Wigram - Director
Zena Wigram trained at the South African College of Music, Academy Drama School, and (on a scholarship) Hertfordshire Theatre School, and gained the LLAM (LAMDA) Gold medal with distinction.
She was a NODA rep for eight years, and has directed for amateur companies including Richings Players, Digswell Players, Anchor, ROS Musical Theatre, St Giles Singers and Proscenium, as well as being MD for other groups.
Zena is currently a principal soprano with Grims Dyke Opera, singing G&S at Gilbert's home in Stanmore. Other professional companies she has performed with include Barking Dog, Jellybean and OperaWorks. In between theatre work, she runs a B2B services marketing company, Minim Marketing.
Alex Kirstukas - Musical Director
Alex Kirstukas trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and studied voice under Anthony Holt of the King's Singers, and is a recent recipient of NODA's Malcolm Rose Award for G&S performance. He has music-directed and performed with many groups in the UK and abroad, including JLOS, Grosvenor Light Opera, Grim's Dyke, and Savoynet, as well as with King's College London, the Royal Academy of Music, and the International G&S Festival in Buxton. When not doing music and theatre, he is a researcher at Royal Holloway University of London, currently partnering with the London Archives to study connections between the West End stage and early film.
