2013 saw us depart from G & S, and perform an old Offenbach favourite - La belle Helene.

We were extremely fortunate to welcome two professionals to the cast. Fiona Oliver - Smith and Jim Heath played the leading roles of Helene and Paris

The production was the second of Fraser Grant's translations of Offenbach's operettas to be performed by the Julian, the first being Orpheus in the Underworld in 2005.

The show was set in a Berlin nightclub in 1938.
